Nightmare Revisited
Corey turned me on to the album Nightmare Revisited, and it is very very well done. It is basically all the songs from The Nightmare Before Christmas as performed by various rock bands.

Stabbing Westward is one of those bands who were not quite one hit wonders, but only have the one calling card song that people will recognize as theirs.

Tracy Chapman is an amazing singer. Fast Car, while sad, is one of the most beautifully done songs I have ever heard. I think that the lack of hard emotion in her voice almost furthers the long sadness you hear in the words.
